Extended Day Program (EDP)

St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Extended Day Program (EDP) exits to give parents the peace of mind that their child has a supervised, fun and safe place to be. We understand that parents may need to be to work earlier than the school day begins, or still at work when the school day ends. 

The morning session begins at 6:30 am, with students receiving breakfast. Students may have time to study, watch TV, or visit with friends.

The afternnoon session begins after school is dismissed and includes a snack. Weather permitting students may go outside to the playground. When weather is inclement, students have the use of the gymnasium, play board games, do crafts, and are encouraged to begin their homework. 

Policies and Procedures

For the child’s safety, parents must walk their children to EDP in the morning,  and come into EDP to retrieve them at pick-up. Children will not be released otherwise.

Fee Schedule

A yearly registration fee is required for each student to attend.

The fee is $20.00 for the 1st student and $10.00 for each additional student.

There is a $1.00 charge per billing cycle.

The cost of EDP is $.75 per 15-minute increment. The maximum cost for the Before School portion is $5.25 per day/per student. The maximum cost for the After School portion is $9.00 per day/per student.

A reduction of $1.00 will be granted to families with more than one child if the children stay past 5:00 pick-up time.


Billing Schedule

In our continued effort to “go green”, we ask that you receive your bill via email. Please indicate the email address that you would like to receive your bill. If you change your email address, it is your responsibility to inform EDP. For email addresses not given, your bill will be sent using the email address on file with the school office. If you do not want your bill emailed and would like to have hard copies you must indicate that on the EDP registration form.

Billing will be for a two-week period. Payments may be made in one of the following ways; cash, check or money order to the school office or EDP at time of pick-up or drop off. You may also elect to use the on-line payment system through the website. To use the on-line payment system, go the “Giving Page” on the home page and click on DONATE; ON-LINE GIVING; CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT; EDP

You may set this up as a one-time payment, but must do that each time you make a payment, or set it up as an auto pay.

If at any time your bill is in arrears more than two billing cycles, your child(ren) will not be able to attend the program until payment is made.
